Interactive Oregon Trail, Friday April 12th, 7-9pm

Hitch up your oxen and get your supplies ready! The Oregon Trail experience returns to the Main Library. This special after-hours live game event will be for adults only. Sign up as a team, or join a wagon party the night of. This event is for adults only. Registration is required. Click here to sign up.

Tax Prep Services: Mondays at the Main Library, Starting January 28th

Free tax prep services return to the Library, courtesy of VITA and Metro United Way. Appointments are by registration only.


Writing Contest: Submission open January 4-February 15th

The Oldham County Public Library’s Adult Writers’ Group is sponsoring the 3rd annual Writing Contest. The theme for 2019 is “Self Improvement”. Submissions are open to all ages, with different categories for judging. For rules, submission guidelines, and category information, click here. Winning entries will be published in March.

Looking for a new job? A Talent Development Specialist from Kentuckian Works will be at the Main Library Tuesdays and Wednesdays in study room #2 from 9:30am-3:30pm. Weekly sessions will include workshops on resume building, networking, linkedin, job search assistance and more.
