End of Summer Swim Parties

PLEASE NOTE: All swim parties are subject to weather. In the event of changes to the schedule due to incliment weather, all announcements will be posted to the Library Facebook Page.

July 24th, 26th & 31st from 7:30-9:30 PM 
Sponsored by the Friends of the OCPL, the parties are for those who have completed the reading program and have earned a swim pass!  Your night is determined based on the school your child attends! Please bring your pass to the pool for admission!     

July 24: Pool passes required. For Schools: Lagrange, Locust Grove, Centerfield, Trimble County, Henry County, OCMS, & OCHS

July 26: Pool passes required. For schools: Camden Station, Crestwood, Kenwood, St. Aloysius, Shelby County, EOMS, SOMS, & SOHS

July 31: Pool passes required. For Schools: Buckner, Harmony, Goshen, Jefferson County, Homeschool students, St. Francis, NOMS, & NOHS

Programming Update

All children's programs are on hiatus while the staff gets ready for new events this fall! This includes Story Times and Toddler Times at all locations. Regular programming will return after Labor Day. Meanwhile, check out some of the passive programming available for all ages:

Maker Boxes

Selected Maker Boxes are available at all locations! These can be checked out on an adult card for use in the library. Each contains materials for fun and educational learning.

Game Library

Selected games are available at all locations. Drop in to have a family game night!

Imagination Station

Donated by PNC Grow up Great and the Kentucky Science Center, the Imagination Station is available at the Main Library. Kids can dress up as different professionals such as policepeople, doctors, pilots and more.

American Girl Doll Lending Library

This collection of American Girl Dolls is available for checkout! One doll at a time can be lent per family. Each doll comes with the first book of their collection. Please see lending agreement for details.

Please note: Library policy states that children under 12 years of age may not be left unattended at the library. This includes programs. We strive to provide a safe and fun enviroment for all our patrons and appreciate the support of the community in helping sustain this.
